We are currently activating our migration from the netlify.com domain to netlify dot app. You can read more details about this here: https://community.netlify.com/t/changes-coming-to-netlify-site-urls/8918 . If your site is newly malfunctioning, and updating settings to the new domain (replace sitename.netlify.com with sitename.netlify.app in your configurations) does not restore correct behavior, please post a response to that thread with as many details as you have for us to investigate. Currently creating new sites from a git repo via our UI may not work well for you, in which case you can link from the CLI instead: https://docs.netlify.com/cli/get-started/#automated-setup
